At Freedom Church Cairns, we believe raising strong, grounded leaders shouldn’t come with a crushing price tag. Our Bible College exists for one reason—to train and release future pastors, planters, and ministers who carry the heart of Jesus and the courage to reach the lost. This one-year program isn’t about prestige or padding résumés. It’s about building men and women who will stand firm on the Word of God and lead with integrity.
Unlike many colleges charging $7,500 or more per year, our model is simple: you only pay for your books and materials. Ministry shouldn’t be locked behind financial barriers, and we refuse to let money stop potential leaders from stepping into their calling. This is accessible, practical, hands-on training for those who are serious about serving Christ.
Students receive a balanced blend of online teaching, classroom sessions, and practical ministry development. You won’t just sit in a room listening to theory—you’ll be out on the streets learning how to share the gospel with real people in real situations. Our street evangelism training is bold, direct, and deeply life-shaping.
Each student is personally mentored by Evangelist Isaac, receiving guidance, correction, and encouragement from someone who has lived the mission. You’ll learn how to preach, how to disciple, how to carry spiritual authority, and how to navigate the pressures of ministry without compromise. It’s training built on Scripture, prayer, accountability, and real ministry experience.
At the end of the one-year journey, graduates are positioned for one purpose—to be sent out. Freedom Church Cairns proudly commissions new pastors and leaders at our annual Church Planting Conference, launching them into communities across our region and beyond.

At Freedom Church Cairns, we believe future pastors and leaders should be trained in the real world, not just in a classroom. That’s why our Bible College is designed to be practical, accessible, and focused on genuine ministry development. Instead of paying thousands of dollars in tuition—as some colleges charge over $7,500 a year—our students only cover the cost of their books and materials (so everyone can afford and attend). We keep it simple so anyone with a calling can step forward without being held back by finances.
Our one-year program is hands-on from day one. Students don’t just study theology; they serve, lead, preach, reach the community, and grow under real ministry pressure. This is training in the field, alongside pastors, evangelists, and leaders who live out the gospel daily. It’s the kind of development that shapes character, builds confidence, and prepares people for long-term ministry.
The goal of Freedom Bible College is clear: raise and release healthy leaders who will plant and shepherd Freedom Churches across Australia and internationally. For many students, the end of their first year isn’t just graduation—it’s an open door to pioneering a new church. We actively look for those who show calling, faithfulness, and readiness, and we support them as they step out to build something new for the Kingdom of God.
Throughout the year, students engage in preaching workshops, leadership training, outreach, discipleship, counselling, prayer ministry, and the everyday realities of church life. They learn what ministry actually looks like—messy, rewarding, stretching, and full of purpose. They also receive one-on-one mentoring and practical guidance to help them discern God’s direction for their future.
