The Bible and the Messiah both originated from the Jewish people, to whom we owe a significant debt. It is imperative that we pray for them as a nation and as a community.
During the Holocaust in Nazi Germany, many remained silent, but as Christians, we must now actively support our Jewish brethren and the nation of Israel, as they are God's chosen people. The Jewish people were given their homeland by God, in fulfilment of biblical prophecy.
They have the right and the duty to protect themselves from the evil forces that threaten them. As stated in Scripture, we are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).
As a Christian Chruch we stand with Israel .
Additionally, we pray for a spiritual revival in the Holy Land, where both Jews and Palestinians affected by conflict may turn to Jesus Christ.
