Next Steps

Are you feeling that life isn’t going as you had hoped? Are you using alcohol to cope with issues or finding yourself struggling with addiction? Do you feel depressed, sick, or miserable? Are worries about the future weighing you down? Does social media leave you feeling worse about yourself?

If you can relate to any of these questions, know that Jesus is the answer to all of these challenges. We warmly invite you to visit our church and see this truth for yourself.

Below, you'll find essential steps for becoming a Christian. But first, let's clarify what it truly means to be a real Christian in a world filled with religious confusion.

Being a Christian is not just about attending church; it’s about building a personal relationship with Jesus, founded on faith in His completed work of salvation on the cross.

Remember, salvation is not achieved through your own GOOD  deeds—you cannot earn your way to heaven. We must recognize that we are sinners by nature and can only seek God’s mercy. God demonstrated this mercy by sending His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins, relieving us from the penalty of eternal separation from God.

The wonderful news is that Jesus has done the hard work by dying on the cross for your salvation. Now, all that is required is for you to humble yourself and repent—acknowledge your sins, turn away from them, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life.

On the next page, you will find the sinner’s prayer, which marks the beginning of your faith journey. Keep in mind, this isn’t just a fleeting prayer—it’s the start of a lifelong, fulfilling relationship with Jesus.
