While we don’t set dates or chase sensational predictions, Scripture describes the signs of the end times—and many of them are unfolding right before our eyes. From global instability to moral confusion, from spiritual deception to increasing hostility toward biblical truth, the world is racing toward the return of Jesus Christ. Here in Cairns, people are asking big questions about the future, and we believe the Church must speak plainly and confidently about what God’s Word says.

 

The end times aren’t meant to scare believers—they’re meant to wake us up. Jesus warned that many would grow cold, distracted, or deceived. But He also promised that His faithful followers would shine brighter as the darkness increases. At Freedom Church Cairns, we take these warnings seriously. We teach the whole counsel of God, including prophecy, so believers can stand firm, stay alert, and recognise the times we’re living in.

 

The last days call for urgency, not fear. They call for holiness, not compromise. They call for believers who refuse to blend into the world but instead carry the gospel with clarity and conviction. We believe Jesus is coming back—literally, visibly, and powerfully. That truth should shape how we live, how we pray, how we serve, and how we reach those who don’t yet know Him.

 

Our mission is to raise disciples who are watchful, grounded in Scripture, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Cairns doesn’t need a church that’s asleep. It needs a church that understands the times and responds with faith, courage, and expectation. The end times aren’t a fringe topic—they’re a call to be ready, to stay faithful, and to keep our eyes on Christ.
