Every year, Freedom Church Cairns hosts a dynamic Church Planting Conference right here in the heart of Far North Queensland. This gathering exists for one purpose: to equip, inspire, and send out men and women to plant new Freedom churches across Australia and beyond. We believe the call to plant churches is urgent, biblical, and essential for reaching communities that desperately need the hope of Jesus.
The Freedom Church Planting Conference brings together pastors, leaders, evangelists, and everyday believers who feel stirred to build something new for the Kingdom of God. Whether someone is preparing to start a Freedom church in a small rural town, a major Australian city, or an international location, this conference provides the tools, training, and spiritual strength needed to step out boldly.
Across the sessions, we deal with real, practical issues—leadership foundations, evangelism strategies, community outreach, discipleship, sustainability, and spiritual resilience. But we also lean heavily into prayer, worship, and seeking the power of the Holy Spirit. Church planting isn’t just logistics; it’s calling, conviction, and courage. And those things are shaped in the presence of God.
Freedom Church Cairns has a strong heart for multiplication. We believe healthy churches plant healthy churches. Our mission is not to build one local congregation but to see gospel-centred, Spirit-filled churches established across the nation—and the nations. This conference is a key part of that vision, creating space for relationships to form, dreams to be revived, and leaders to be strengthened.
